Polished Pooches, LLC

Polished Pooches is an individually owned, small business, run by Jackie Clayton. Jackie is a life-long resident of Mesquite, and a retired Special Education teacher (of 32 years) with Mesquite I.S.D.. She and her husband, Bob, also started a 501c3, non-profit dog rescue in 2013, named Ready 2 Rescue. Both Bob and Jackie have always loved animals, especially dogs!

Jackie showed her Australian Shepherd in the obedience ring, and has worked with rescue dogs in need of training. She has also been the photographer for Ready 2 Rescue, as well as taking family portraits, and holiday photos for fundraisers.

Polished Pooches is a combination of dog grooming and dog photography, with a small boutique in the front of the shop, with many items for the spoiled pooch! Check out her prices, and you will see that they won’t break your pocketbook!

Jackie is known for her love of children and animals, especially those with special needs. Patience comes naturally to Jackie, so working with senior dogs, or dogs with special needs,  is not a problem.
